The Healthy Starter Kit has ten 5mL bottles and a diffuser to get you started. I would love to walk you through each oil, so you have a better understanding of the importance each one can bring into your life!
Lavender
This is one of the most used, must have oils in our house. This is one of the first oils we had in our house. Its first use in our house was to help combat anxiety in my daughter. She used it topically on her wrists and back of her neck every day before school.
Lavender oil is a great oil not only for calming, but to help sleep. Either diffuse in the air or place a drop on your writs, back of neck or bottom of feet and you will sleep like a baby!
Lavender oil is known for it’s calming, regenerating and healing properties. In addition to the anxiety, stress, and sleep, as mentioned above, it also is known to help with:
- allergies and hayfever
- colic and upset baby
- cuts, wounds, blisters
- sunburns, burns, and scars
- teeth grinding, nosebleeds, and pink eye
- bug bites and hives
- high blood pressure
- emotional balance
Lemon
Another very popular, regularly used oil in our house. Lemon essential oil is known for it’s uplifting, invigorating and refreshing properties. Its main use in our house is for allergies, runny nose, congestion, and mucus. But I also use it for cleaning (it’s a great antibacterial oil) as well as getting off sticky (you know like those price tags left on glass) off of stuff!
Lemon essential oil is also great for
- kidney and gallstones
- Ph issues and lymphatic cleansing
- Edema and water retention
- Heartburn and reflux
- gout, rheumatism, and arthritis
It’s important to also know that Lemon Essential oil is an antiseptic, diuretic, antioxidant, antibacterial, detoxification, disinfectant, astringent and degreaser.
Peppermint
Another favorite oil in our house! Used for so many things, but the biggest is for digestion. I use peppermint oil and beadlets (not included in the kit, but available via the website) to help with stomach and digestive issues.
Peppermint is also great for allergies in addition to lemon and lavender essential oils. My oldest daughter and I both have asthma and I believe adding peppermint oil to our daily lives has really helped combat our asthma attacks and lessen our use of inhalers.
Peppermint essential oil is also successful in helping with:
- headaches and migraines (a drop of your temples or forehead)
- bad breath and hangovers
- decrease milk supply
- fevers and hot flashes (rub oil on the spine to reduce fever; put oil in the crease of elbows or back of neck to get rid of hot flashes)
- Alertness and energy
- burns and sunburns
Tea Tree (or melaleuca)
One of the very first oils in my house ever! I used tea tree oil to wash my son’s cloth diapers. With it’s antibacterial and natural properties, it helped clean them without chemicals.
With Tea Tree essential oils powerful, cleansing properties it’s great for cuts and wounds. We use this instead of Neosporin in our house. In combination with peppermint oil, it’s great to place behind your ear (or kids) for ear infections.
Tea Tree Essential Oil is also great to use for:
- viruses, bacteria, and diarrhea
- canker and cold sores (mixed with water, clove and on guard for a mouth wash/gargle)
- Athlete’s Foot and Candida Issues
- Sore throat and tonsillitis (rubbed on your throat directly)
- Dandruff, scabies, and lice
- Shock
- Acne, pinkeye, staph infections, and MRSA
- bronchitis, colds, and flu
Oregano
Did you know that you can use essential oils while you cook? My husband loves to add a drop or two of Oregano oil when he’s making pasta sauce. You still get all the amazing properties of the essential oil and it makes are sauce amazing.
In addition to making our pasta sauce taste amazing, we use oregano oil on our warts. I know gross, but hey we all have embarrassing things, I’m just airing mine out on the internet! It works amazing though and better yet, no harsh chemicals.
In addition to both crazy, but true, ways above, Oregano Essential Oil is great for:
- viruses and bacterial infection
- Strep Throat and Tonsillitis
- Staph Infection and MRSA
- Intestinal worms and Parasites
- Calluses and canker sores
- Pneumonia and Tuberculosis
- Boost Progesterone
- Urinary infection
- Athlete’s Foot, Ring Worm and Candida
Frankincense
This oil isn’t called the King’s oil for anything, this is the most popularly used oil! Not sure what oil to use for an issue, more than likely you can grab Frankincense and it will do the job!
Great for skin (add it to your face cream) or put directly on cuts, scrapes, scars or stretch marks. Rub on feet or neck for the immune system and cellular health. As well as all below:
- cancer and tumors
- seizures and trauma
- Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Brain Injury
- Depression
- Sciatica, Back Pain and headaches
Deep Blue
You are going to fall in love with this oil! It’s not my favorite smelling oil, but I will never not use this oil! Sore muscles, back pain, and headaches. This oil is magic!
If you have back pain, are an athlete or work out, you need to make sure this oil in your house! I’ve also found a trick that I love to share with people, if you are congested, rubbing a drop deep blue and breath essential oil on the top of your feet between your big toe and second toe to help relieve congestion.
Breathe
The name of this oil pretty much describes it’s importance. We go through this oil quickly in our house. All winter and allergy season this oil is diffused as well as used on our feet, nose, and chest. The best part, it smells amazing!
On Guard
Another basic oil that needs to always be stocked in your house! Germs be gone! This is a must in our house during the year. I diffuse it to get rid of germs in the air, I put it on our necks and feet to fight off nasty germs throughout the day. IWe clean with On Guard to disinfect my house. I make a mouthwash to fight off germs. And I use it in my laundry to get rid of germs on our clothes. Like I said, this is a must!!
Digestzen
I am going to be honest, I use this oil almost every day, but I am not a fan of its smell. I have friends who love the smell of it, but me, no! But it works, so I continue to use it.
Just like its name says, this oil is great for digestive issues. I rub it directly on my stomach when it’s upset. My son gets heartburn a lot and this oil helps with that, rubbed directly on his chest.
Brevi Stone Diffuser
I believe every essential oil user should have a diffuser in their home. I personally have 5! Diffusing oils is one of the best ways to use them. A lot of new time oil uses are afraid to use oils on their skin, which is totally understandable! So diffusing the oils still gives you the benefits of the essential oils!
I would like to remind everyone, many oils are strong, or hot oils, which means they need to be combined with coconut oil when used on the skin. And if you are using citric oils (like lemon or orange) on your skin, do not get it in direct sunlight.
If you would like to get started with this kit or any kit you can head over to my website or email me directly. I would love to work with you and help you get started on natural, healthy living.
